Carina Omnibus takes us from INCEPTIO with Karen Brown in New York in (roughly) 2010 as a rather defensive, relatively naive 24-year-old to the accomplished 39-year-old Major Carina Mitela of the Praetorian Guard Special Forces sixteen years later at the beginning of SUCCESSIO, via a conspiracy back in the New World in CARINA and betrayal and an attempted coup in PERFIDITAS.
Aurelia Omnibus, set in the late 1960s to early 1980s sees the bone-and-bred Roma Novan Aurelia lethally threatened by her criminal nemesis in AURELIA, hunt a serial killer in NEXUS, face rebellion and brutal tyranny in INSURRECTIO and lead resistance in RETALIO.
There’s passion, resilience, misunderstanding, courage, guilt, conflict, resolution, high ideals and love in well over 1,000 pages in each omnibus.

 While the Roma Nova thrillers are set in an imaginary remnant of the Ancient Roman Empire, they remain at heart thrillers – action, suspense, twisty plots, courageous characters and bad guys of every description. And every character has multiple layers, talents, abilities, hang-ups and failings.
Well, I was challenged a few years ago by Conn Iggulden (no less!) to write a modern, non-alternative history heroine and her adventures. So I have.
